An AI support bot trained only on your documents
A RAG chatbot that answers from approved FAQs and PDFs, shows its sources, hands off to a human when unsure, and embeds on any site with one script tag.
Demo project: the business shown is fictional. We built this working product to show how we would solve this problem for a real client in this industry.
The problem
Small businesses answer the same five questions all day, and leads that arrive at 10 pm wait until morning. Generic chat widgets hallucinate prices and policies. Most “AI” tools also train on your data or lock you into a monthly seat.
What we built
- Upload FAQs or paste policy text. The API chunks it, embeds it (Gemini
text-embedding-004, 768 dimensions, stored in pgvector) and retrieves the closest passages for every question. - The model is instructed to answer only from that context. If it is not confident, the widget opens a short lead form (name + WhatsApp) instead of guessing.
- Every reply lists the source document titles.
- A 4 KB JavaScript widget: one
<script>tag, any website. - If no paid AI key is configured, a deterministic local embedding and an extractive fallback still let the demo run.
Try it
Open the AskDesk playground and ask “How much does a website cost?” or “Do you work with clients outside Indore?” The same widget can be enabled on codevergesolutions.com by setting PUBLIC_CHATBOT_* environment variables.
Taking it to production
WhatsApp Cloud API as a second channel, per-bot usage caps, and SSO for larger teams. A typical first bot is 1 to 2 weeks.
